“The poems I offer here are my interpretation of “the call” that brought Moses to his journey as a rebel, a prophet, a (hu)man. Here, I speak to the actions required by human hands to inhabit a divine desire to incinerate oppression and give light to liberation; for the heavens may inspire, but we must be the ones who act. “Who am I to answer the call?” is a question we must ask and answer for ourselves repeatedly, as the world changes and as we change (with) it. I only hope that these words and this visual experimentation given flame through this seminar may inspire someone to answer the calls dancing in the air. ”
